How it works

Market, Valuta and Museum, explained.

Here you will find the details we kept short on the Home page: how the Market will work, what Valuta does and does not do, the role of the Museum and the method we follow.

The Market

Not just any marketplace.

Tifoso Infinito Market will be the marketplace dedicated exclusively to football shirts: for collectors, enthusiasts, buyers, occasional sellers and professional resellers.

  1. Football shirts only

Commercial, vintage, modern, official replica and "Authentic" retail-version shirts, plus collectible pieces. Everything else stays out.

  2. People who know the field

Whoever buys and whoever sells a shirt speaks the same language: season, version, condition.

  3. Structured information

Team, season, manufacturer, size, condition and provenance in an orderly listing, not a free-form description.

  4. Attention to authenticity and provenance

We will keep apart what the seller declares, what emerges from checks, and what the platform will be able to verify.

  5. Built for collecting

From a 50-euro shirt to a rare piece: the same place, with a dedicated level for selected pieces.

How it is organised

Market

  • All shirts
  • Auctions
  • Museum

Regular shirts live in the Market. The Museum is the premium section inside it: only selected pieces are admitted, and admission cannot be bought. Auctions are part of the Market and may also include items not admitted to the Museum.

Get Your Shirt Assessed

Discover the story behind your shirt.

It is the first service we will open, by invitation only. It is for you, whether you want to sell or not.

By invitation
  1. Tell us about the shirt

Team, season, type of shirt and whatever you know: even just "I don't know" is a valid answer.

  2. Upload the photos

Front, back, labels, product code, crest. We will guide you on what to photograph and how.

  3. We analyse the details

We compare the information and photos with what is known, and point out consistencies, inconsistencies and missing evidence.

  4. Receive the report

A note on the signs that may indicate the shirt is genuine, and an indicative value. If the evidence is not enough, we tell you what is missing instead of inventing a figure.

What it is

  • A preliminary assessment
  • An analysis of the details and evidence available
  • An indicative, non-binding value

What it is not

  • It does not replace a professional appraisal
  • It is not a certification
  • It is not a guarantee of authenticity

After the report, if you wish, you can tell us whether you would be interested in listing the shirt on the Market. They are two separate paths: you will not need to go through Valuta to sell on the Market, and the report is useful to you even if you never sell.

Inside the Market · Premium selection

The Museo del Calcio.

It is not enough for a shirt to cost a lot. Only selected pieces enter the Museum, with features and documentation of particular collecting interest.

  • Signed shirts
  • Match-worn shirts
  • Issued and prepared shirts
  • Pieces with significant provenance
  • Memorabilia linked to shirts
  • Rare pieces

Admission is selective and cannot be bought: a high price, or a payment, does not open the door to the Museum.

Auctions

Auctions are part of the Market and may also include items not admitted to the Museum. The Museum may have auctions dedicated to selected pieces. No auction is active and no date has been announced.

Method

Say what we know. And what we don't.

We want trust to come easily because everything is clear, not because we promise it.

Information
We ask for precise, comparable data, not rough descriptions.
Provenance
We show what can be documented: where a shirt comes from and who has owned it.
Documentation
Evidence is kept apart from claims. Where it is missing, we say so.
Assessment
Indicative, explained estimates, never presented as certainties.
Transparency
If something cannot be verified, we say so plainly.

We do not issue appraisals or certifications. Where the evidence is not enough to say anything, we say so.
